Les Miserables, Queen's Theatre - ★★★★★ - Until July 13, 2019

It's become a classic, and it's hard to believe there is a theatre aficionado who hasn't seen "Les Mis" at least once. The very long Victor Hugo novel is "compacted" into almost 3 hours running time. The plot is slightly Byzantine and the story takes place against the backdrop of a revolution that is obscure to say the least. But, the music...it's both touching and rousing and comprises some of the biggest hits ever written for the musical theatre. If you haven't seen this show, then it is a required part of your theatrical education. For the rest of us, once more unto the breach with Valjean, Marius and Cosette! We love this show!
