Winter Wonderland - FREE - ★★★★★ - November, December, January 2020

Acres of fair food, beer gardens, gravity defying rides, carnival games, craft stalls, ticketed shows, Santa's grotto, an ice rink and more... What's not to like? This is a great day out with the kids, if you can control their appetites for junk food and steer them away from the rides that would scare you. This is the granddaddy of London winter festivals. The crowds can be a bit overwhelming so maybe the quieter day scene is better for young ones. The lights and atmosphere in the evening are a great antidote for the winter cold ... or is that the mulled wine that is working?
