Coming Clean, Trafalgar Studio 2 - ★★★★ - Until February 2, 2019

Kevin Elyot's meditation on fidelity has moved from the King's Head to Trafalgar Studio. The play faces one of those issues that challenges every relationship. What does fidelity mean and what is betrayal? Definitions evolve as society changes, as people grow and as relationships mature. Lee Knight stands out as Tony in a generally strong cast. The doubling of the parts of William/Jurgen is confusing. The audience is left wondering if this is a plot device, a money-saving casting or some kind of role play? Not the question we should be pondering at the end, when so many more interesting ones have been raised.
